Quality Assurance Inspector
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00/hr
Location: Joplin, MO
Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime: Occasional Saturdays as needed

Position Overview
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for ensuring all products meet company quality standards and industry regulations within a machine shop environment. This Quality Assurance Inspector role involves performing inspections, audits, and measurements to maintain compliance with established quality systems.
The ideal Quality Assurance Inspector is detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced in using precision measuring tools while supporting continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
Required Experience & Skills
• Experience with quality audits and QA/QC processes in manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM, vision systems)
• Ability to analyze data and interpret quality metrics
• Familiarity with ISO and AS9000 quality standards
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with production teams
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
• Perform quality audits and document findings for process improvement
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify product dimensions and tolerances
• Ensure compliance with ISO, AS9000, and applicable quality standards
• Analyze inspection data and prepare quality performance reports
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Support the development and maintenance of quality management systems
• Monitor and assist with HACCP protocols where applicable
