Job Description

Job Description

Location: St. Petersburg, FL (In-Office / Hybrid after 90 days)

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: $155,000–$200,000 depending on experience level

A well-established Florida law firm with a serious commercial real estate practice is seeking attorneys at multiple experience levels to join its St. Petersburg office. Whether you are a 3rd-year associate building a transactional foundation, a mid-level attorney with lender-side lending experience, or a senior counsel ready for a client-facing role — there may be a fit here.

All positions are based in St. Petersburg with an in-office requirement for the first 90 days, followed by a hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 remote.

Role 1: Commercial Real Estate Transactions Associate — 3+ Years | $155,000–$160,000

This role supports complex commercial real estate transactions across acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. It is a broad transactional position — not lender-specific — with a clear path toward professional growth and client development.

What You'll Do:

•       Draft and review purchase and sale agreements, commercial lease agreements, and transactional documents

•       Conduct due diligence on real property acquisitions and dispositions

•       Review and resolve title issues across active transactions

•       Perform legal research and analysis in support of various CRE matters

•       Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on complex deals

Role 2: Commercial Real Estate Lending Attorney — 6+ Years | Compensation Commensurate with Experience

This is a lender-side role representing banks, institutions, and capital sources in complex commercial real estate lending transactions. Candidates must have substantive experience on the lender side — borrower-side or developer-side work as a sideline does not qualify.

What You'll Do:

•       Draft and negotiate commercial loan documents across construction, refinance, and acquisition lending

•       Manage loan closing checklists and coordinate due diligence review

•       Interface directly with institutional lender clients

•       Coordinate paralegals and junior attorneys on active transactions

•       Grow into deeper client development responsibilities over time

Role 3: Senior Counsel — Commercial Real Estate Lending (Lender-Side) — 7–8+ Years | $180,000–$185,000

A senior lender-side seat for an attorney who has built their career representing lenders in complex CRE transactions and is ready to operate with full autonomy and client ownership. Florida Bar license is required. Candidates currently located in Georgia, North Carolina, or South Carolina who hold a Florida Bar license are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do:

•       Lead lender-side representation across all phases of complex CRE lending transactions

•       Manage loan documents, closing coordination, and due diligence oversight

•       Own direct relationships with institutional lender clients

•       Support shareholders on complex matters and contribute to business development

What We're Looking For (All Roles):

•       Florida Bar license required for all positions

•       Commercial real estate transactional experience — litigation-only backgrounds will not be considered

•       For lending roles: substantive lender-side representation required, not borrower or developer-side work

•       Ability to work independently and take ownership of matters with minimal oversight

•       Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills

•       Professional demeanor with confidence interacting directly with clients

•       Demonstrated job stability and commitment to quality work

What's Offered:

•       Competitive compensation — negotiable for the right candidate

•       Full benefits package

•       Hybrid flexibility after 90-day onboarding (3 in / 2 remote, Mon–Fri)

•       Well-established firm with a respected CRE practice in the Tampa Bay market

•       Collaborative team environment with real investment in professional growth and client development
