We are looking for a unicorn to join our team. We’re growing like crazy and we need someone to help keep this ship working seamlessly. Our shop is a unique blend of upscale gourmet, home, gift, and curated vintage retail items. Our customers enter in awe and the Retail Specialist should be able to greet them warmly, offer some background on our shop, and lend a helpful suggestion without overwhelming the customer. We need someone who takes immense pride in their work, no matter the size of the task- someone who possesses personal style and can represent our brand and those we choose to sell, accordingly. Are you easygoing yet neurotic in the best way? Are you kind? Can you keep your ego in check and work as a team? Candidates should have an interest in food, entertaining & design. Professional presentation a must. Organization and the ability to multitask are crucial.
Our staff is small but wonderful, our hours flexible and 90% are daytime. Weekends are part of the deal. The Holiday Season is our busiest time. We're looking for someone interested in all aspects of Kismet: Finding new, independently produced retail items to introduce to our customers, developing our own products, planning custom events, creating public events, etc.
Looking for candidates with long-term intent. Job Hoppers need not apply. Current schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, closed on Mondays & Tuesdays, however, our hours and days are expanding soon and therefore semi-flexible. We are looking for full-time applicants. There is an abundance of growth potential.
