Job Description Job Description Now Hiring: Full/Part Time Occupational Therapists - OT (25/26 School Year) - Arizona Location: Phoenix, AZ Contract through the school year Schedule: Full Time: (M-F) 37.5-40 hours/week, Part Time: 2.5 Day's per week | Follows school district calendar Setting: Elementary, Middle, and High School openings Pay: * Hourly Pay: $50 - $60 Benefits Available: * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance * 401(k) and Flexible Spending Account * Paid vacation time (eligibility required) * Weekly direct deposit Other Perks: * Housing assistance (if relocating) * Credentialing support * Referral bonuses * Travel stipend and untaxed per diems for qualified travelers Your Role as an Occupational Therapist (OT): * Evaluate patients by observing their movements, performing standardized tests, and listening to their concerns to establish an individualized plan of care. * Competent care rendered to patients. Use exercises, stretching, equipment, modalities, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further pain and injury. * Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and motivate them to reach their goals. * Provide continuity of care by communicating pertinent patient information with the rehab team, physicians, and other disciplines as needed. * Document all patient care in accordance with department policies. * Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols. Occupational Therapist (OT) Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university * Must possess or be eligible for an Occupational Therapist License in the State of Arizona. * At least one year of relevant work experience in a school and/or pediatric setting(s) preferred. * AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card. * BLS/CPR Cert. * Physical ability to meet job demands (e.g., standing, sitting, lifting up to 40 lbs) Why Work with AB Staffing?
