Job Description Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school social worker position is available to provide comprehensive support and interventions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade, primarily serving a high school population. This contract role offers a full-time schedule of 37 hours per week, with an assignment based at a single building in Edison, NJ. Responsibilities include assessing students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs, developing individualized support plans, collaborating with educators, families, and community resources, and addressing barriers to student success. The social worker will play a critical role in fostering a positive school climate and promoting student well-being.
