Summary:

As Senior Account Manager, you will provide continuous support and customer service to all your established accounts. You are required to develop, and support all assigned account relationships. Responsible for facilitating RFQ requests, timely quote submissions, and subsequent costing, and price negotiations. You will always represent as an ambassador of the organization to promote and support core values, capabilities, and culture. Achieve sales objectives and goals. Responsible for monitoring customer open order management and maintaining continuity with the production management team.

Additionally Senior Account Manager is responsible for monitoring purchase order activity for assigned customer accounts. This includes overseeing both Kanban and Make-to-Order (MTO) processes, while monitoring and managing stocking levels and reorder points.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The listed duties and responsibilities may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Sales Manager.

 

Client Relationship & Business Development

·         Manage and maintain client relations at all levels of customer organization including frequent verbal communication and email correspondence. Occasional client visits may be warranted.

·         Facilitate all client RFQ requirements and correspondence with timely quote submission and follow-up.

·         Demonstrate product knowledge and technical assistance with client to provide the best process application to meet client design expectations.

·         Create and maintain sales contact information, customer forecasts, RFQ and delivery timelines. Communicate projected forecast expectations, changes etc.

·         Support weekly sales strategy meetings with the sales and management teams to review account performance, progress, forecasts, and trends.

·         Assess account order status daily and communicate with client immediately in the event of any potential delays or delivery concerns no less than one day in advance of scheduled ship date.

·         Manage documentation of daily client correspondence and activities.

·         When out of office activity is required, prepare materials with call sheet activities to present to the sales team in a scripted professional handout at the weekly Strategic Sales Review.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Internal Account & Process Management

·         Monitor client account schedule details through the production process including performance to established quoted standards, and quality conformance, with on-time delivery awareness to meet due date expectations.

·         Command the order transaction management process including timely distribution of paperwork to required internal processing stations.

·         Solid history of print reading skills with identification and interpretation of technical specifications.

·         Collaborate closely with the Sales Manager, estimating team, and customer service to ensure appropriate client communication of contract implementation, acknowledgement, and feedback.

·         Understand and target margin expectations and participate in job costing/close-out reviews.

·         Steward new opportunities/projects to ensure a coordinated and well-defined effort for NPI.

·         Advanced navigation within our ERP system. Must be self-sufficient with sourcing needed information to independently support client activities and expectations including WIP/open order and expected delivery status.

·         Responsible for identifying and communicating client quality expectations along with product specifics for seamless job launch and execution.

·         Initially this position will require 100% on-site daily office presence to conduct business, engage and interact with entire team both administrative and production taking interest and supporting product and process. Out of office sales activity to be advised at the discretion of your Sales Manager.
