Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to lead and elevate the firm’s business development and communications initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic marketing professional who can strengthen marketing efforts, amplify firm expertise, and enhance thought leadership in the marketplace.

 

The ideal candidate will bring prior experience within the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry, along with exceptional writing, communication, and storytelling skills. This individual will serve as a key steward of the firm’s external brand voice and will develop marketing strategies that support both immediate priorities and long-term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support pursuit strategies for new business opportunities
  • Develop customized proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral
  • Facilitate internal and client debriefs to strengthen future pursuit efforts
  • Drive public relations initiatives and cultivate relationships with local and national media
  • Develop and execute PR strategies for key projects and firm initiatives
  • Plan and manage the firm’s annual blog calendar in alignment with business objectives
  • Write blog posts and collaborate with internal experts to produce thought leadership content
  • Coordinate and manage local and national award submissions
  • Interview project teams to craft compelling project narratives for the firm’s website
  • Support project storytelling through development of photography shot lists
  • Create and execute digital marketing campaigns that highlight expertise and active work
  • Identify and support speaking opportunities at conferences and industry events
  • Partner with the Marketing Director on the annual marketing plan and budget
  • Provide mentorship and support to the Marketing Coordinator

 

Required Skills

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities

  • Experience managing or mentoring team members
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience contributing to thought leadership and brand-building initiatives
  • Familiarity with Adobe InDesign is a plus
  • Experience with Cosential/Unanet CRM systems is a plus

 

Experience & Education

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields
  • Prior experience in the Architecture, Engineering, or Construction (A/E/C) industry strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
