Sag Harbor Tavern, the sister restaurant to Red Hook Tavern, brings classic American tavern fare to the waterfront village of Sag Harbor. Built on the same foundation of thoughtful cooking and genuine hospitality, the restaurant highlights exceptional seafood from the surrounding waters.
We’re looking for experienced servers to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the floor, attentive to detail, and genuinely enjoys creating a strong guest experience.

The Role
Servers are responsible for guiding guests through their experience with warmth, knowledge, and attention to detail. You’ll work closely with the entire team to ensure service runs smoothly across both the dining room and outdoor patio.
What You’ll Do
Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation, and allergens
Guide guests through food and beverage selections with confidence
Work collaboratively with bartenders, hosts, and kitchen to maintain smooth service
Complete all opening and closing side work in a timely manner
Accurately handle payments and follow all service procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and polished section throughout service
What We’re Looking For
Experience in a similar role preferred
Knowledge of classic cocktails and basic wine fundamentals
Strong communication skills and a warm, approachable presence
Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and a strong sense of responsibility
Interest in food, wine, and hospitality
Reliable and punctual
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift 40+ lbs
Weekend and peak-season availability required
Additional Details
Housing is not provided. Applicants must be able to commute to Sag Harbor.
