Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Lakeville, MN, offering an opportunity to support diverse student populations. This contract role involves working with students requiring speech and language services, including those in center-based programming and early intervention settings. Responsibilities: * Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 65 students at Castle Elementary. * Support students in center-based programs with individualized speech-language goals. * Conduct home visits to serve children aged birth to 2 years, managing caseloads of around 12 children on IFSP plans. * Collaborate with families and educational teams to develop and implement effective communication strategies. * Maintain documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state requirements. * Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development as required. Qualifications and Experience: * Active Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) School Certification for Speech-Language Pathology. * Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology is preferred. * Experience working in school environments or early intervention settings. * Ability to manage caseloads effectively and engage with children across various developmental stages. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Flexibility to provide part-time or full-time services; part-time hours may be available for voco SLP candidates. Work Schedule and Location: * Full-time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:15 am to 4:15 pm at Castle Elementary or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm for the Birth-2 early intervention role. * Assignment duration varies: ASAP to End of School Year for Castle Elementary position; ASAP to June 30, 2026, for Birth-2 position. * Location: Lakeville, MN, with some home visits required for the Birth-2 role. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students speech and language development within educational and home environments.
