Join us to drive innovation in the energy trading sector! As a Software Developer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions, bridging the gap between technology and trading operations.

What you will do:

• Design, implement, and maintain software solutions tailored to the needs of front, middle, and back office functions.
• Develop and enhance Beacon ETRM subsystems, including invoicing, market data analytics, risk monitoring, and trade lifecycle management.
• Manage and improve interfaces with 3rd-party systems, such as exchange feeds, power scheduling systems, and regulatory reporting tools.
• Ensure data integrity through reconciliation processes and unit testing.
• Support compliance and regulatory reporting systems for Axpo US operations.
• Collaborate closely with teams across trading, origination, risk, and operations to deliver innovative solutions.

What you bring & who you are:

• University degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Ideally, 3+ years of professional experience in IT within the commodities services industry (energy preferred).
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with other modern OOP languages.
• Understanding of ETRM/CTRM systems and commodity lifecycles.
• Knowledge of US energy markets, including power and natural gas.
• Strong analytical skills, solution-focused mindset, and ability to anticipate risks.
• Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business needs.

Salary Range*: $110,000 - $130,00 USD
*The actual compensation offered will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
