Darling Jack's Tavern is accepting resumes for Sous Chef position. Our team works very hard in a busy, fast paced, positive environment. We are looking for a Sous Chef who can learn and grow with us. We serve lunch, Sat + Sun brunch and dinner.
You must be Serv Safe Certified in PA!
Compensation details:
*competitive salary
*2 weeks paid vacation, 1 week every six months
*health benefits after 60 days
*401k plan with up to 3% salary match
*dining privileges within the restaurant group
Ideal candidate will:
* have 3 years previous experience as lead line cook or Sous Chef in a similar, fast paced restaurant.
* possess solid leadership of the restaurant culinary operation in absence of CDC
* have a positive presence throughout the restaurant.
* be able to manage kitchen staff effectively & delegate responsibilities to the team
* be an effective problem solver
* communicate job expectations & manage employee performance.
* learn to monitor food cost, labor cost & inventory.
