*Job Summary*
Ferguson Asphalt and Paving, family owned, general road contracting company serving Central Minnesota. We offer competitive wages, consistent hours, overtime pay, paid time off, and benefits which can include: health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and profit sharing.

This is a full-time position and it is seasonal. We start in April/May and work into December (weather-dependent). We do government, commercial, and residential work in Alexandria, MN, and in the surrounding area of central Minnesota and parts of the Midwest. *Drug and alcohol testing prior to 1st day of work.*

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tack Truck Driver to join our Asphalt team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Asphalt, particularly with tanker and tractor-trailer vehicles.

*Responsibilities*

* Drives truck to transport hot oil, burner oil or tack to and from specified destinations
* Performs daily inspection of truck
* Operates vehicle using safe and courteous driving techniques
* Performs minor repairs and routine maintenance on vehicle
* Obeys all traffic regulations
* Maintains vehicle logs, as required, according to State and Federal regulations
* Monitors vehicle performance and reports malfunctions
* Prioritize safety at all times, following company and industry safety guidelines and protocols.
* Performs other tasks as needed

*Requirements*

* Regular, consistent attendance and regular overtime at all assigned job sites
* *Valid CDL, Class A with tanker and hazardous materials endorsement required*
* Acceptable motor vehicle record
* Current DOT Medical card
* Acceptable roadside inspection record
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
* Physical strength and endurance to perform all principal duties and responsibilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 65 per week
