Technical Support Analyst II Overnight Shift - Apple MAC Specialist Considering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply. *Schedule: *Midnight to 9am Eastern, Sunday through Thursday *Location: *Predominantly - Remote / Location Flexible *Position Summary* The position provides advanced technical support with a strong emphasis on Apple macOS environments. This role is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and administering Apple Mac endpoints in an enterprise environment, including device management, scripting, identity management, and SaaS platforms. This is not a generalist desktop role. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience managing Macs at scale and is comfortable working independently during overnight hours. *Required Core Technical Requirements* Candidates should be proficient in the following: * *macOS administration (required)* * *Enterprise Mac device management (Kandji strongly preferred; other Mac-focused MDM platforms acceptable)* * *Mac scripting and packaging (Bash, Zsh, or similar)* * *Microsoft 365 administration* * *Google Workspace administration* * *Okta (or comparable identity provider)* _*Applicants without meaningful Mac administration experience are unlikely to be successful in this role.*_ *Essential Responsibilities* * Provide Tier 2 technical support with a primary focus on macOS devices * Administer and maintain Mac endpoints using Kandji or similar MDM solutions * Create, modify, and deploy scripts and packages for macOS automation and configuration * Support identity and access management workflows within Okta * Administer Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments * Troubleshoot hardware, software, SaaS, and authentication-related issues * Monitor and respond to overnight alerts and service interruptions * Document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions thoroughly * Escalate issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution * Assist with workstation provisioning, deployments, and lifecycle management *Additional Technical Knowledge* * Active Directory fundamentals * Networking basics (DNS, VPN, TCP/IP, DHCP) * Experience with ticketing systems (ConnectWise or similar preferred) * Remote support tools and endpoint management platforms *Skills and Competencies* * Strong analytical and troubleshooting ability * Able to work independently with limited supervision during overnight hours * Organized and process-oriented * Clear written communication skills (documentation quality matters) * Professional and customer-focused approach * Comfortable operating in a fast-paced support environment *Education and Experience* One of the following is preferred: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field * Associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience * Three (3)+ years of hands-on technical support experience in a Mac-heavy environment Relevant certifications (Jamf, Apple, CompTIA, Okta, Microsoft) are beneficial but not a substitute for practical Mac administration experience. xawqmyg *Working Conditions* * Midnight to 9am Eastern, Sunday through Thursday * Occasional overtime or holiday coverage may be requested * May require periodic on-site support depending on operational needs Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Employee discount * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * Referral program * Retirement plan * Tuition reimbursement * Vision insurance Application Question(s): * Have you ever worked an overnight shift before * Are you able to travel to client sites, if needed?
