JOB DESCRIPTION

Legacy Behavioral Health is seeking a part time Social Worker, LCSW/LMSW. Experience with adult, child, family, and couples counseling is desired. This psychotherapist will collaborate with our treatment team, which consists of other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, physicians assistants, and social workers. Legacy provides all administrative services, including marketing, scheduling, billing, credentialing, office space, and electronic records/EMR/EHR, as well as clinical supervision. JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have unrestricted valid and current registration from NYS Education Department
• Must be licensed in New York State as one of the following: LCSW/LMSW/LCSWR/LMHC
• Must have a minimum of 2-5 years experience in a clinical setting (can include internship)
• Must be able to work a minimum of 15-20 hours per week
• Must have an active CAQH & NPI number 
• Must be eligible for credentialing with insurance panels
• Provide culturally competent counseling services to clients both in-person, and through phone and web-video appointments if requested
• Accurately assess client needs and strengths, develop treatment plans and document client contacts and case notes in an electronic medical records system
• Provide for safety and confidentiality of clients and staff
• Maintain an exhaustive understanding of ethical and professional standards
• Maintain regular, both formal and impromptu, dialog with the Clinical Manager and/or Chief Clinical Officer regarding cases and client care
• Participate in monthly clinical and/or staff meetings, and any required training
• Provide counseling services in agency-office locations in Clifton Park, Saratoga County
• Participate in other duties as assigned and deemed appropriate by the management team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Social Work, or Counseling/Psychology
• Knowledge of and skills including: Crisis, Clinical engagement, Mental Status Examination, Community Resources
• Knowledge of ethical and professional standards
• Ability and willingness to function as active and cooperative member of a professional team
• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills preferred
