Bark Barbecue is opening a second 8,700 sq. ft. flagship destination in the heart of North Brooklyn (East Williamsburg/Bushwick) and is seeking hospitality professionals to join our opening team.
This is an opportunity to be part of an industry-leading buildout from the ground up, helping shape the systems, culture, and standards of a high-volume restaurant focused on exceptional barbecue, hospitality, and craftsmanship.
Position: To-Go Specialist
To-Go Specialists are responsible for managing Bark's pre-order, pickup, and takeout experience. This role serves as the primary point of contact for guests collecting orders and plays a critical role in ensuring every order is accurate, organized, and delivered with exceptional hospitality.
Responsibilities include coordinating with kitchen and service teams, verifying order accuracy, organizing and staging pickup orders, communicating with guests regarding order status, resolving issues when they arise, and maintaining a clean and efficient takeout counter throughout service. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods.
Ideal Candidates
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, cashier, or takeout experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Friendly, organized, and comfortable communicating with guests
• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with POS and online ordering platforms is a plus
