We are Hydro, Inc., a global, industrial pump engineering company with corporate headquarters in Chicago. As the largest independent pump rebuilder in the world, Hydro's provided engineering expertise, pump repair and support services to the industry since 1969.
We have a great opportunity for a qualified **Manual Machinist **to join our team at our location in Chicago, IL. in the great West Loop neighborhood. An excellent compensation and benefits package is available for qualified candidates. A $8,000 Sign-on Bonus for a Machinist to run a VTL and Horizontal Boring Mil.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Manual Machinist is responsible for fabrication, modification, and operation of industrial machine tools and parts to precise specifications. The Manual Machinist develops and maintains these tools and parts utilizing knowledge of mechanics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures. You will be familiar with machining on equipment such as: Vertical Turret Lathes and/or Manual Lathes.
