BA Global Talent is looking for a qualified professional to join a dynamic team as a WordPress Website Optimization Specialistin Latin America and The Caribbean. You will play a crucial role in supporting a digital advertising services firm by optimizing and managing a high-impact website, specifically focusing on enhancing user interfaces and integrating fundraising and marketing tools.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing support and updates for the client's WordPress-based website.
• Fix and simplify the WordPress Admin interface to allow for easier blog creation.
• Incorporate multiple fundraising "buckets" and dedicated landing pages with functional hyperlinks.
• Seamlessly integrate website subscribe buttons with MailChimp for streamlined lead capture.
• Make the development timeline more prominent on the site and ensure the design is professional and intuitive.
• Conduct thorough QA testing and site optimization to ensure high performance and responsiveness.
• Utilize and configure plugins, specifically the Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) plugin, to extend site functionality.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in web development and design is preferred; demonstrated coding skill is prioritized over years of experience.
• Expert-level proficiency with WordPress, including the WP Admin Dashboard and plugin integration.
• Experience with MailChimp, Zephy, and the ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) plugin.
• Previous experience working with nonprofit organizations or fundraising-specific websites is highly helpful but not mandatory.
• Proactive self-starter with a strong ability to work autonomously.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Excellent communicator capable of meeting deadlines in a remote environment.
• Demonstrated technical skill and a strong portfolio are essential.
