Job DescriptionA Financial Services company that recently moved its offices to La Jolla is hiring due to growth. The company focuses on investment opportunities in the healthcare industry and currently have nine portfolio companies under management requiring FP&A support.We're seeking candidates with 2 or 3 years of financial modeling experience. The role supports monthly forecasting, revenue analysis, and expense tracking through Excel models, along with building operational and finance dashboards in Tableau.Outstanding benefits and work/life balance. Location: La Jolla (hybrid/remote)
 

Key Responsibilities

• Support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis across portfolio companies
• Build and maintain financial models in Excel for revenue analysis, expense tracking, and performance reporting
• Partner with operations and finance leaders to develop dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
• Help standardize reporting processes and improve financial visibility across the organization

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Corporate Finance, or a related role
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills (advanced formulas, clean model structure)
• Experience building dashboards or reporting in Tableau (or similar BI tools)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate insights clearly
