Hematology & Medical Oncology Fellowship Program Director:
St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a physician-educator who does not just want to run a fellowship, but to define one. We are building a comprehensive cancer center. The fellowship program at its core needs a leader who sees education as infrastructure, not obligation. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!
Our newly expanded Cancer Center means new clinical volume, new disease teams, new research infrastructure, and new faculty. You will shape the education mission of that center from its foundation including curriculum design, rotation structure, scholarly expectations, and the culture of the program. This is the kind of opportunity that comes once in a career.
This position is offered at our Anderson Campus in Easton, PA or our Bethlehem Campus in Bethlehem, PA. In this role, you will maintain your specialty practice alongside overseeing 9 fellows (3 per year across a 3-year program).
Qualifications:
- Board-certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology
- Minimum 5 years post-fellowship clinical practice
- Demonstrated commitment to graduate medical education with prior fellowship teaching experience
- Eligible for unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- No active restrictive covenant with Lehigh Valley Health Network or Jefferson Health Affiliates
What you'll enjoy:
- Singular ownership by reporting directly to the Systemwide Chief of Hematology & Oncology without any committee layer, vice-chair, or enterprise level fellowship coordination
- Joining a Commission on Cancer (CoC) accredited oncology program that's received multiple awards from NCI and NCQA and a superior rating for lung cancer surgery outcomes
- Exceptional compensation package including signing bonus and relocation reimbursement
- Rich benefits package including malpractice coverage, generous CME allowance, and retirement benefits
