Experience Required
Bar Oliver, a vibrant restaurant in New York City, is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time Line Cook to join our culinary team for lunch and dinner shifts We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional dining experiences and are looking for someone who shares our passion for quality and excellence.
All of our line cooks assist with prep during the day.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Ensure the highest quality and presentation of dishes before they reach our guests.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Assist in inventory management and notify the Head Chef of any shortages.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a fast-paced restaurant setting.
• Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Culinary school diploma is a plus but not required.
