Job Description
Oven Operator-Sparta, TN
Shifts & Pay:
2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
*Overtime when needed on Fridays*
$16.88/hour
Responsibilities:
-Operate roto-molding machines according to production schedule
-Charge molds with correct weight and type of powder
-Add inserts and molded components to molds
-Change molds to meet production requirements
-Inspect parts for quality conformance
-Maintain accurate count of good and scrap parts
-Use measuring equipment for proper powder weights
Requirements:
-Ability to read and write
-Lift 50-75 lbs. frequently and up to 150 lbs. with assistance
-Lift and pour 35 lbs. of powder overhead continuously
-Stand, reach, bend, and kneel throughout shift
-Work continuously in hot environment
-Use pry bars and hand tools at or above chest level
-Good peripheral vision, near and mid-range sight
-Ability to recognize color differences
-Excellent attendance and safety record
-Ability to work effectively as a team
-Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
-Steel toe shoes required
-Must be familiar with hand tools and air tools and know how to use them properly
-Must be okay to work around high heat, and perform labor intensive work consistently for 10 hours daily.

-Eye protection, safety shoes, pants, Kevlar gloves
