E‑Space is bridging Earth and space to enable hyper‑scaled deployments of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. The role of Corporate Counsel focuses on reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, supporting purchasing and procurement departments, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The position is located in Arlington, Texas and reports to the General Counsel.

Responsibilities
  • Contract Review and Negotiation: Draft, review, negotiate, and interpret commercial agreements including vendor agreements, purchase orders, service agreements, non‑disclosure agreements, and other procurement‑related contracts. Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and best practices; identify and mitigate risks.
  • Purchasing & Procurement Support: Provide legal guidance and support to purchasing and procurement; develop and maintain standard contract templates and processes; assist in implementing procurement policies and procedures; advise on legal issues related to sourcing, vendor management, and supply chain operations.
  • Terms and Conditions Management: Review and analyze terms and conditions for agreements and online platforms; advise on legal implications; update and maintain internal documentation.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Stay abreast of legal and regulatory developments; assist in developing and implementing compliance programs and training; identify and assess potential legal risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Internal Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, operations, and sales teams; provide clear and concise legal advice to internal clients; participate in cross‑functional projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of a state bar.
  • 3‑5 years of experience in contract law, preferably in an in‑house or law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contract law, including UCC and related principles.
  • Experience with procurement and supply chain legal issues is highly desirable.
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in legal research and contract management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
