Residential Facilitator

About the Role
The Residential Facilitator supports adults with developmental disabilities by creating a safe, respectful, and empowering home environment. Under the direction of the House Manager/Administrator, this role provides direct care, supports daily operations, and ensures compliance with licensing and agency standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered care, including assistance with ADLs (grooming, bathing, feeding, mobility, toileting, and hygiene)
  • Support residents in daily routines, household tasks, and community activities
  • Administer medications per agency protocol
  • Implement and document Individualized Service Plans (ISPs)
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records
  • Follow all safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements (Title 17/22, HIPAA)
  • Transport residents safely to appointments and activities
  • Collaborate with team members and participate in required trainings and meetings

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 12 months of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities with behavioral support needs (or qualifying education)
  • Valid California driver’s license with at least 24 months of driving experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and assist with resident transfers
  • Must pass background check, health screening, and required clearances
  • CPR/First Aid, Medication Administration, Pro-Act, and DSP training (completed post-hire)
