Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for the 20252026 school year in a school-based setting located in New Windsor, New York. This position focuses on serving school-aged students, providing essential therapy and support to address speech, language, and communication needs while working collaboratively with educators and families. Key Responsibilities: * Assess, diagnose, and deliver individualized therapy to students in alignment with IEP goals and relevant educational standards. * Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to monitor and promote student progress. * Participate actively in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, offering professional insights and recommendations. * Maintain detailed and timely documentation of therapy services, student progress, and compliance requirements. * Facilitate the generalization of communication skills in diverse educational and social environments. Qualifications: * Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. * Current New York State SLP License or eligibility to obtain licensure. * ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows considered. * Knowledge of CSE processes and Department of Education requirements preferred. * Experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills to support multidisciplinary teamwork. Location: New Windsor, New York Schedule: Full-time, approximately 32.5 to 35 hours per week during the 20252026 school year Contract Type: School-based contract position This role offers competitive compensation starting at $55 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
