The Geller Law Group is an award-winning, mid-sized law firm in Northern Virginia looking to hire a Senior Family Law Attorney. This position is a hybrid, full-time role. *Virginia law license is required*, DC and/or Maryland is a bonus. Our mission is to provide clients with an exemplary level of legal services and expertise at an affordable rate. Our firms mission and size lend itself to the personal and prompt service one expects from their legal counsel. *Details* Must be a self-starter and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Book of business preferred. Our expectations include that you have the ability to manage an independent caseload, handle litigation matters from inception to completion, conduct initial consultations with prospective clients, supervise junior associates and paralegals, be detail and deadline oriented, and work well with others. *Required Skills & Experience* * *6+ years of family law experience*. * VA law license is required. _DC &/or MD a bonus._ * Proven first-chair trial expertise. * Engage in family law litigation, including divorce, custody, and child support matters. * Ability to supervise work performed by junior associates & paralegals. * Command of the courts of Northern Virginia and their respective policies. * Self-motivated, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and think outside of the box. * Prepare clear pleadings, motions, depositions, and briefs with proper grammar, formatting, and professionalism. * Effective time management, planning and organization skills to accomplish tasks in a timely manner are needed. *Preferred Skills & Experience* * Comfortable working remotely and familiar with the technologies involved in a hybrid environment. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. * Highly trustworthy and discreet; and * Common sense and good judgment. *Base Salary Range: *$150,000 175,000 (Compensation commensurate with experience.) _*This role is eligible for five (5) different types of bonus opportunities in addition to the base salary._ *Benefits & Perks* * Teleworking & flexible hybrid schedule * Paid time off * Medical, vision & dental insurance * Short- & Long-Term Disability coverage * 401k match * Matching Charitable Donations * Paid community service days * Flex Spending & Dependent Care Benefits * Paid parental leave * Telecommunications Reimbursements Job Type: Full-time Pay: $150,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Employee assistance program * Flexible schedule * Flexible spending account * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Parental leave * Professional development assistance * Vision insurance Experience: * Family law: 6 years (Preferred) License/Certification: * Virginia Law License (Required) * Maryland Law License (Preferred) * District of Columbia Law License (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * Fairfax, VA 22033 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Fairfax, VA 22033: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Fairfax, VA 22033 by Jobble
