About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgeon to lead and expand its dynamic orthopedic service line. This pivotal role involves overseeing the administration, strategic planning, and management of the department to ensure excellence in clinical care, program development, and departmental growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading departmental operations, fostering multidisciplinary collaboration, and building relationships within the hospital and community. Additionally, the role includes developing and implementing growth strategies for orthopedic services, managing departmental staff, and participating in academic activities such as teaching, research, and faculty appointments. Applicants for the Chief of Orthopedics position at the company must have an MD or DO degree with board certification in Orthopedic Surgery, a valid New York State Medical License, DEA, and Medicaid numbers.
